Leeds Driver Safety Show 2007








This was organised by the Taxi and Private Hire Licensing authority from Leeds City Council.  The event mainly focused on passenger and driver safety.  It was also designed to let drivers and operators see, first hand, equipment from the UK’s leading manufacturers.

Steve Cartwright, Operations Manager of Cygnus Automotive, said “We had a very successful show at Leeds and generated many leads for CygCam, Cygnus’ in cab CCTV security system”.
Sales Manager, Harry Derbyshire commented “It is the first time I have been to the Leeds Show.  I was impressed with the amount of drivers that visited us at the show.  Hopefully, drivers will advance to the next step and make the commitment to improve their safety.  I think Cygnus offer a good system for the price.  What price do you place on your security?”

Liverpool Show 2007

The event was organised by “The Liverpool Taxi Drivers Children in Care Outing Fund”.  It was the 4th Northwest Taxi and Private Hire Exhibition and was held at Aintree Race Course, Liverpool on 23rd & 24th July 2007.

Steve Cartwright, Operations Manager for Cygnus Automotive, said “We had a good show at Liverpool and apart from the core product of taximeters, we generated much interest in CygCam, Cygnus’ in cab CCTV security system”.

Also on show was a selection of the taximeter equipment for which Cygnus are famous.  This included the new MR350, blue LED taximeter and the world beating MR400 taximeter.  These were linked to Cygnus’ own brand printer, the PT73.
